As a Syrian international student, the University of Florence’s Mechanical Engineering for Sustainability (Energy Technologies) program has been a transformative experience that equipped me with practical, sustainability-driven engineering skills, enabled my current research career in sustainable energy and circular economy, and empowered me to apply engineering knowledge toward meaningful real-world and humanitarian impact.
