The Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering for Sustainability (Energy Technologies Curriculum) gave me a solid technical foundation rooted in classical mechanical engineering while also introducing sustainability-driven concepts and innovative methods that are often missing from traditional programs. Taught entirely in English, it created an international environment that I really enjoyed and that strongly supported my professional and personal growth. Today, in my research activity at the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Florence, I use these tools daily to model and compare the performance of technologies such as batteries, wind turbine generators, and integrated energy systems across several EU- and nationally funded projects, applying what I learned to real-world problems.
